    Investments is a dedication of an amount for a certain period, which allows you to receive an interest accrued on the deposit amount monthly, quarterly, or at the end of the contract.

    Any member of a co-operative society may have several deposits which entails no additional expenses. The deposit contract will be automatically extended for the deposit period (1 or 2 years), unless the deposit agreement provides otherwise. If requested by the investor, the accumulated amount of interest shall be paid to the investor’s account on a monthly basis.

    The minimum amount of accumulation deposit comprises 5,000.00 euros and the maximum amount is 200,000.00 euros.

    For example, under a 1-year contract the annual interest comprises 10%, whilst a 2-year contract offers the annual interest of 11%. Deposits for an amount of 10,000.00 or more envisage an additional interest of 0.5%. Thus, a 24-months contract offers the annual rate of 11.5%, whilst a 12-months contract ensures the annual interest of 10.5%.

    In accordance with the Law on income tax, the interest earned on the deposits of private companies in a credit union is taxable, therefore Krauss Kinnisvara Oü withholds the income tax from the accrued total of interest before paying the interest to an investor. Krauss Kinnisvara Oü pays the income tax to the Tax and the Customs Department, and transfers the interest remaining after the taxes’ payment to the investor.

    Having a fixed-term contract, you will not have the opportunity to withdraw or invest more money during the contract validity period. However, we always find a way to accommodate requests of our customers, therefore we give the opportunity to take away all your money giving us a 3-months prior notice. In this case you will not lose the earned interest! The deposit contract will be automatically extended for the period of the deposit (1 or 2 years), unless the Deposit contract provides otherwise.
